AVVI ("we," "us") helps parents organize the school messages that matter. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: errol@chattabot.ai.

Information we collect

Account information — your name, email address, and (if you enable text alerts) your mobile phone number.
Your children's details you choose to add — first name and school, used only to sort your school mail by child.
School messages — with your explicit permission, AVVI reads the school-related email in your connected inbox to sort, summarize, and surface what needs you.
Device information — a push-notification token if you enable alerts, and basic technical logs needed to run the service.

How we use it

We use your information only to operate AVVI for you: to sort and summarize your school messages, organize them into what needs you now, what's coming up, and what's handled, and to send the alerts you turn on. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

SMS / text messaging

We will never sell or share your mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with any third party or affiliate for any purpose. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from any information we may otherwise share with service providers, and will not be shared with anyone.

You opt in to text alerts inside the AVVI app; it is optional and never required. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time. See our Text Message Program page for details.

Information from Google APIs

When you connect a Google account, AVVI's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We access your email only to provide AVVI's features to you, we do not transfer or sell this data, we do not use it for advertising, and no humans read it except as needed for security or to comply with law. You can disconnect Google access at any time.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run AVVI (for example, secure cloud hosting and message delivery), under agreements that limit them to that purpose — and, as stated above, never your SMS opt-in data. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention & security

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service, and protect it with industry-standard security. You may request access to, or deletion of, your data at any time by emailing errol@chattabot.ai.

Your choices

You can turn text alerts on or off, disconnect your email account, and request deletion of your data at any time.
